OK I did that, and the message was saved, but the "*" persists after the search for new mail....... .....however, 2 things struck me when I looked in the folder 1: there was no .overview file created as there is with mail messages. Is this normal? 2: the message was saved with the file name "14", wheras I would have expected to see the filename "1". Is there an index ofthis folder somewhere, and could the problem be the wherabouts of messages "1-13"? I'm just dying to know the solution!
