I have several groups that regularly get mail with attachments that should
be saved to different directories. For example, say I have
`nnml:mail.clientA', and all attachments should go to `~/projects/clientA',
and so on in a similar manner.
I'm almost certain that there's an easy way to do this, but I seem to be
overlooking it. I'd tried setting `mm-default-directory' and
`default-directory' in a group's parameters but met no success.
Have I missed something simple, or am I about to find myself writing a few
lambda functions again? :)

That's exactly what I did, and Gnus still defaults to `~/', unless I've
saved to a given path at some point, in which case it will use that path.
Any other ideas?
