When i read a spam mail with HTML, gnus dials up to get some of the
images. I have an idea that some of the spammers are able to discover
that I have dialed up, and that this will result in me getting even
more spam. Therefore I would like to disable the dial-up feature.
How do I do this?
Thanks in advance
Niels
PS: I am using:
Gnus v5.8.6 on XEmacs 21.4 (patch 6) "Common Lisp" [Lucid]
(i386-debian-linux) of Mon Jan 21 2002 on eeyore

Yep, sometimes the tag looks like <img
src="whatever.jpg?youremailaddress@example.com">.
