Why can't I see my X-face?

First I read GNUS FAQ and then:

Here's my ~/.gnus:

(setq gnus-posting-styles

      (organization "Istanbul Bilgi University")

        (with-temp-buffer

and right now, when I'm writing the message the headers look
like:

Subject: Why can't I see my X-face?
X-Face: ?x.2hKDsRa]HlPG$rU5BwdtKTi`LjH-VYqR7[u*{'&6KI;m!~M$n\\5b!#hg$y{z`P!mv:4)

I had that X-face data by turning a JPG into .xbm then using

http://www.dairiki.org/xface/xface.php

and then 

cat emre-zaurus.face | sed 's/\\/\\\\/g;s/\"/\\\"/g;' > emre-zaurus.face.quoted

However, when I read back the messages I posted, I can't see
any graphics.

But I can see some graphics when I read some other people's
posts, e.g. the ones from Pascal Bourguignon in comp.lang.lisp;
hmm, I've just checked his headers and his is somehow different:

Newsgroups: comp.lang.lisp

I tried W f (Show X-Face) but what it shows is not what I see
in my original .xbm file. Also this is not the default behavior
but I can see others' "face"s. What must I modify?

|    Decoding an `X-Face' header either requires an Emacs that has
| `compface' support (which most XEmacs versions has), or that you have

"Face" != "X-Face", see (info "(gnus)Face") and (info "(gnus)X-Face").

Thank you very much. I followed your pointers and created
a 48x48 pixels JPEG image and used 

(setq message-default-headers
        (with-temp-buffer
          (insert "Face: ")
          (insert (gnus-face-from-file "~/pics/emre-face.jpg"))
          (buffer-string)))

and it brought a big, long Face: ... header. I think
it works now.

BTW, your X-Face header seems corrupted.  Here's a corrected one:
