Subject: trouble with smime
Date: Sat, 3 Aug 2013 16:26:51 -0700 (PDT) [thread overview]
Message-ID: <d88a745b-db8a-4f99-ac64-8bb892bb0dc8@googlegroups.com> (raw)
I have openssl installed on Windows 8 (64-bit) and I am using Emacs 24.3 with gnus. I can verify my certificate, and I can send smime signed email. The problem is that when gnus tries to decode smime signed email sent to me, it produces the following error message:
[[S/MIME Signed Part:Failed]
OpenSSL failed to verify message integrity:
-------------------------------------------
Can't open output file /dev/null
3828:error:02001003:system library:fopen:No such process:bss_file.c:169:fopen('/dev/null','w')
3828:error:2006D080:BIO routines:BIO_new_file:no such file:bss_file.c:172:
]
If anyone has any suggestions on how to troubleshoot, I would be very grateful.
Thanks,
Bill Day
