See the Node "Posting Styles" in your Gnus manual. Other approaches: use
maildrop/reformail[1] to rewrite your headers, inserting an MFT for this
list.

No, and it's one thing I really used to like about mutt. Rewriting the
message proper makes you independent of the MUA used, so I'd rather use
this approach if you can.

Followup (which starts a "wide reply", for mail).  Remove individual
users' addresses, leaving just the mailing list.

Granted, it's not as automatic as a group-per-list arrangement with
the "to" parameter set, but then you're operating in a bit of a
self-made purgatory, in wanting a mailing list mixed in with personal
mail.
