Ouch, I'm afraid you are running into the Emacs integer limit. There
is nothing Gnus nor nnimap can do, the only options is to use XEmacs
(which has a 31 bit limit), use Emacs on a 64bit machine, or hack
Emacs to use emulated 64bit integers ("long long").
