i have oort-gnus CVS and the same problem (i think). i would like to
be able to choose to display faces. my emacs is non-X, but running in
an Xterm normally. compfaces is installed as well as xli/xview,
everything new. my ~/.gnus contains:

      gnus-article-x-face-command
"uncompface | xli -quiet -geometry 48x48+0+0 stdin"

i had the impression that this would do it, but it ain't ;) so do i
have to force gnus into believing it can do it?
