The code I found relates to gnus pre-MIME handling days. Can someone point me to a reference? Most of the stuff I've found through google is obsolete. Strange enough, I have the above entry in /etc/mailcap (on a Debian 3.0 system), but everything works fine -- if I want to read a word document, I press b in the article overview, and the MIME lines are replaced by the text contents.
