Yes! here it is: ((tick 1 (8 . 11) 17 19 34 36 (38 . 43) (45 . 46) 54 58) (read (1 . 327)) (reply 18 46 49 51) (expire (27 . 28) (30 . 33) 47)) and everything seems to be OK except for the 327 number; that was the number of a * marked article that didn't seem to get moved correctly (even after my mucking with it a bit). what's the best way to fix this, change 327 to the number of mails in the group (I supposed I could try this myself, but a similar attempt yesterday (with "G E") didn't seem to work, or, rather, only worked briefly). thanks! greg
