We are warned upon trying to post messages with lines longer than 79
characters, however the Subject line, most important of all, isn't
checked.
I'm sure I mentioned this before. Sorry. You probably already fixed it.

The length of the subject line isn't all that important, though --
Gnus just folds the line if it's too long.

Well, majordomo eg. has defined some upper boundary for the total
length of headers (maybe for the subject as well), so there's a limit
imposed sometimes :-)
