Hi,

I just downloaded Oort Gnus from www.gnus.org, typed ./configure in the
directory and then make. It seemed to get past byte compiling a bunch of
files and then it died in the texi directory with the following errors.

I have included the output of uname -a and ./configure below to help
analyze the problem. I appreciate any help.

Thanks,

Nimar

You either need a new X/Emacs to compile the Gnus manual, or a new
texinfo installation.

OK, installing texinfo-4.3 fixed the problem. But this probably should
have been mentioned on the Oort website. It only mentioned the
pre-requisite version of Emacs.

Thanks,

Nimar

Ok; I've now updated that file, so the next Oort should say that you
need a new texinfo.
