Subject: Frustrating behavior wrt .mailrc
Date: Sat, 06 Mar 2010 17:46:41 -0500	[thread overview]
Message-ID: <u1vfxysoe.fsf@verizon.net> (raw)

I run Gnus v5.10.10 under Emacs 22.3.2 under Windows XP, for my many
sins.

My ~/.mailrc file defines a certain alias "fa" for an email address.
When I actually use that alias in sending mail, it instead brings up
an email address belonging to "fa" in a long-gone .mailrc file. There
are no other .mailrc files in my system.

Is there any way to get rid of this pest? Neither restarting Emacs
nor rebooting Windows does it.
