I am running on Windows 2000. I also have Cygwin installed. The problem I see is that the ".overview" files in my nnml groups frequently have the first line filled with NULL characters. Everything works OK, but the files keep getting larger and larger, with more NULL characters being prepended. This also happens with the file ".nnmail-cache". I also see it happening in the .overview files created by the Gnus agent for newsgroups. Frankly, I'm at a loss here - the same setup works fine on Windows XP without this problem. Can anyone suggest a solution, or at least a workaround?
