I've brought this up before and I think it was Kai that suggested marking all the articles and moving them back into the same folder. In the past this has worked... until the next time the number is off. Also in this folder, I have 3 articles marked as expired that I can't seem to delete. "B ESC ^E" doesn't work. If I try to view those articles nothing happens... It's as if the summary is out of sync with what is actually on disk. So, my questions are, how does gnus maintain those numbers? How are they getting out of sync? What can I do to prevent this from happening? How can I get rid of those expired ghost articles? Thanks. ^ permalink raw reply [flat|nested] 3+ messages in thread

When ghost articles appear in the overview, you should be able to fix that by calling nnml-generate-nov-databases. -- David Hanak - Research Engineer Institute for Software Integrated Systems | http://www.isis.vanderbilt.edu Vanderbilt University | Work phone: (615) 343 1319 Box 1829, Station B, Nashville, TN 37235 | PGP key ID: 266BC45F ^ permalink raw reply [flat|nested] 3+ messages in thread
