Subject: Search CVS File Revisions for a String
Date: Fri, 30 Mar 2007 12:27:46 -0400 [thread overview]
Message-ID: <uy7leg0hp.fsf@feinfo.com> (raw)
Greetings gnus,
I'm an emacs novice, and am starting to use emacs to interact with CVS.
Is there a way to use emacs to search file revisions for a particular
string?
For example, I want to quickly see if any revision in a given configuration
file ever had a reference to the string "VisitType" without doing
iterative DIFFs, etc.
Thanks very much in advance,
Ryan
