I find the scoring system way and above what I need. I tend to browse
most posts in groups I have an interest in.

I know its probably staring me in the face, but is there a one key "kill
author" so that I dont see his posts at all - all "lower score" seems to
do is to change the font...

Best gnus scoring tutorial??

`L A RET'. You can bind this to a single key:
(define-key gnus-summary-mode-map (kbd "<f5>") "LA")

,----[ (info "(gnus)Score Variables") ]
| `gnus-summary-expunge-below'
| Don't display the summary lines of articles that have scores lower
| than this variable. This is `nil' by default, which means that no
| articles will be hidden. This variable is local to the summary
| buffers, and has to be set from `gnus-summary-mode-hook'.

Bye, Reiner.
