When I reply to mails that I recieve from an imap server, Gnus add the
recepient address to the Cc field of the reply. I wonder what the
correct steps to fix this problem would be.

I don't understand what you mean by "recipient address", but maybe the
variable message-dont-reply-to-names helps?
