Hello.

I've started to use gnus to read news and I am having some problems to
understand some of the features. I hope you can help me (and maybe
others as well).

About the expiration, the manual says that the articles are not
deleted unless they are marked as expirables and some time has
passed. But, are the articles that I read from the News server saved?
or it refers to other articles? I have not found the place where the
articles could be saved.

If they are saved, how can I make all the groups expirables as I read
them? Or, is there a function to mark all the articles as expirables?

Can I collapse all the threads in the summary view? So they are not
expanded unless I read them.

Also, can I see all the messages in the summary, and not only the
unread ones?

Is there a way to completely remove killed groups? I still can see
them if I list the killed groups.

It would be great if I could see the .gnus file of other people,
specially commented ones. In the FAQ there is a link to a web supposed
to have some, but for now it doesn't work (404 Not Found).

Thanks a lot for your help. I really hope to use gnus better and
forget the Netscape Messager ;)

Best Regards.
