What commands can you use to try to determine what's set up on your
system already so that you can choose and set up dot files for gnus
email?...

One of the difficulties novice beginners or intermediate users face is
determining the various aspects of the system they're using for the
purpose of choosing and setting the dot files for gnus email. What
didn't appear yet in the informational web links about how to set up
gnus email are commands you can use to find out the various parameters
in place for the system you're using. What's needed in the faq
informational web links about how to set up gnus email are a list of
commands you can use to try to determine things like versions and
what's set up on the system already.
