Hi,
When using binary newsgroups and decoding with gnus-uu-decode-uu-view or
all other functions in gnus-uu I allways get the error : Wrong type file
anybody knows why ?

Are you sure the file you're trying to decode is uuencoded? Most
binary files on Usenet these days are in yenc format.
I wrote some elisp for dealing with yenc a couple of years ago -- it
should be in the archives for gnu.emacs.sources.
