I'm wondering if there is any elisp code, function or variable I might
be able to set to keep gnus from taking over the whole screen when I
enter and leave groups. I would like to have my screen split in two
vertically, with gnus on the left and something else on the right, but
gnus keeps taking the whole thing over. I'm thinking a possible
function like 'lock-window-positions' or something of that sort?

Any hints?
