Do you want the date to be the current date or the date according
to the mail header?

You are the man :) Thanks that is excellent. I find that emacs/gnus is
far to powerfull for me :)

Thanks, I have saved that and will use it to respool all the mail. I may
end up using it as the default spooler anyway.
