Subject: make uninstall fails in rmdir
Date: Thu, 30 Mar 2017 21:22:28 +0200	[thread overview]
Message-ID: <20170330192228.GA89598@www.stare.cz> (raw)

Hi Ingo,

this is 1.14.1 on a MacOSX 10.6.8

mandoc itself seems to work just fine,
but 'make uninstall' fails with the

	rmdir $(DESTDIR)$(INCLUDEDIR)

as the directory was not created with 'make install',
because I have not installed the library (right?).

It's actually the last command of the uninstall target
so the failure does not stop anything else from happening,
but it still leaves the user wondering if something
was left behind (non-unistalled) when 'make uninstall' failed.

	Jan
