Subject: mandoc does not implement Eq
Date: Sun, 14 Apr 2024 11:54:36 -0600	[thread overview]
Message-ID: <10605-1713117276.427010@l-J-.gxQ9.mc3C> (raw)

Hi,

mandoc does not implement the mdoc(7) Eq macro.

This was discussed recently in the got(1) IRC channel, where it was
noticed that the literal string 'Eq' needed to be escaped in the
manpage, but only when viewed with groff.

groff_mdoc(7) says:

.Eq The first and second arguments of this macro are the
opening and closing strings respectively, followed by the
         arguments to be enclosed.
