It seems to come mostly from crap between `It's in column lists. I investigated. It's bad. Real bad. .Bl -column atan_(y,x)_:=____ sign(y)_(Pi_atan2(Xy_xX))___ .It Fn atan2 y x No := Ta .Fn atan y/x Ta if .Ar x \*[Gt] 0, mandoc has been happily throwing this away. Obviously this is wrong. It seems that `It' is in fact a multi-line block level even in columns, and that `Ta' can be invoked arbitrarily to add new columns. If tabs can be used after within these bodies, I'm going to be unhappy. I'll try to work on this a bit now before sleeping. Gross.
