Subject: mdocml-1.13.4 regression: mandoc -a with pipes
Date: Fri, 22 Jul 2016 22:10:14 +0200 [thread overview]
Message-ID: <8737n1igd5.fsf@gmail.com> (raw)
Hi,
I noticed a regression in the last mdocml release:
The use of mandoc -a is broken when input comes from a pipe.
$ cat /usr/share/man/man1/mandoc.1 | mandoc -a
[1] + Stopped (signal) cat /usr/share/man/man1/mandoc.1 | mandoc -a
mandoc gets suspended with SIGSTOP, and foregrounding is not possible.
Found on Void Linux, Linux 4.6.4, glibc 2.23, mdocml 1.13.4.
cu,
