In some cases (when the break happens at a full stop or similar sign) it may not be guessed by the reader that the footnotes goes on. I guess that it would be nice to have some option in \setupfootnotes to set (or reset) the use of continuation messages, like "(continued\dots)" and (\dots continued)", and of course such message should be localized.
