Dear all,

Today I prepared a complete installation of tex and context on my Linux
machine. The installation used is from the techlive CD-ROM 1999. The choices
made were all belonging to 'recommended'.

The context part was immediately updated with the latest beta-version.
New format files were created.

When testing the installation I am able to produce DVI-files. However when I
try to use te command 'texexec --pdf' I get the following message:

This is pdfeTeX, Version 3.14159-13c-2.1 (Web2C 7.3) (format=cont-en
