mptopdf

mptopdf

[Severin Obertuefer]

hi

i have miktex 2.2 installed and wanted to run mptopdf, but when I use the
newest version of "mptopdf.pl" it dosent work. the following error apperas:
eftm=mptopdf: unknown option
if i replace the file by another version everything works fine.
what could be wrong here?

are you sure about the spelling of the above?

please report what version does work fine and which one does not.

"-efmt=mptopdf: unknown option"

version 2000.05.29 is the version of all the mptopdf.pl files i have.
the latest that cause no error is from the 7.9.2001. The old file which
works fine
ist much shorter than the newer ones.

Oh that is something for the software museum :)

I am not a miktex user, but does it help to set the environment
variable TEXSYSTEM to "miktex"? How do the other ConTeXt/miktex users
use mptopdf?

I tried the thing with the TEXSYSTEM but that changed nothing!
