Are you sure the file is unzipped and all pdf's are in one same
folder/directory?

I tried it also and my Acrobar Reader 5.0 shows me that manual just fine...

Have we got the same vesion of Acrobat Reader? Mine is running under
Windows98, if that makes a difference. Do you get the same error when you
open show-man.pdf directly, that is not opening showcase.pdf first?
