Hi all,
i prepared today a figure database. Within the comment fields there are
words containeng accented letters.
<figure>
<file></file>
<label>Beispiel</label>
<copyright>WE</copyright>
<comment>Oberfläche</comment>
</figure>
When saying <\figurelibrary language="en"> at the beginning I get the given
example word as Oberfl""ache The same is valid for the language="nl". If i
use the <\figurelibrary language="de"> then I get the example word as
Oberfl"äche.
I am puzzled ... What am I doing wrong?
For testing in your environment I attach a minimal file.
Thanks
Willi

better use entities like ä and \useXMLfilter[ent] (or use utf 8)
