AFAICS highlighting and commands like M-q, C-c C-o and C-c C-e ar working
but
- imenu (maybe because XEmacs has a different menu package)
- outline-minor-mode

and because I mostly need the menu, the conclusion was "it doesn't work for
me". I have looked into it, but I am not a great lisp hacker, so ...

BTW: is it possible to go from an error in the log directly to the right
place in the document?

Uuuuh, really? I didn't looked into it, but a structured listing of the
current document and some help by setting references (buttons and so on!)
would be very nice.

Anyway, if there is no other system out there in the wilderness, I will
start looking deeper into the problems I found and maybe some day there
will be some answer to the question ;-))
