Subject: mktexlsr question
Date: Sun, 24 Feb 2002 13:38:30 +0100	[thread overview]
Message-ID: <004001c1bd30$2e690940$6401a8c0@lap> (raw)

I have a file called fg.map in
c:/TeXLive/texmf-var/pdftex/config

but if I do "kpsewhich fg.map" then no result is given. There is also no
ls-r kind of file in that directory.

If I do "mktexlsr" I get

Updating C:/mytex/ls-r...
c:/texlive/texmf-var/ls-r
..
..
done

so it looks like the mktexlsr program knows where to look, but doesn't that
mean that it should be able to tell where what file is?

Regards,

Frans
