Studying the ConteXt PDF manual further, I saw the example where the logo
gets raised with a \strut in the command. Trying that out, I noticed that I
can \lower the logo successfully but it still won't get higher with a
\strut\raise command there...

This is the one that works to lower it but I want a raise ;=}}:

\definieerbeeldmerk
[groot logo] [hoofd] [rechts]
[commando=\strut\lower5cm\hbox{\stkoplogo}]

Groet,

Frans

Sorry for the earlier question about raising my head... I solved it:

When I described in my message how the logo was willing to stoop but not to
stick its head through the ceiling, so to speak, this prompted me to look at
the page layout commands that I used. I now changed these to;

   kopwit=5mm,
   hoofd=30mm,

and I can now "play" with the settings to get it right. Previously, I had 0
for the "hoofd" value and apparently that is the place where the logo wants
to play... and zero playroom was a bit tight ;=}}

Groet!

Frans

Looking for clues in the archive, I found the tip below from Berend de Boer
(October 1998). But the \raise1cm command doesn't work in the example I sent
in yesterday. Is there another way to winch up the letterhead logo command
above the normal top of the text field?

Thanks for your time, Regards, Frans

Some code I have, needs to put a logo on the front of reports, maybe it
helps you:

%Voorblad logo, 1cm boven onderkant van papier
\gebruikexternfiguur
 [Kwetters]
 [Kwetters.png]
 [type=png,breedte=.12cm,hoogte=3.22cm]
\definieerbeeldmerk
 [logo]
 [onder]
 [links]
 [commando=\raise1cm\hbox{\Kwetters}]
