Do you really intend to define a list and an enumeration with the same name?
\defineenumeration[nwcodechunkhead]
\definelist[nwcodechunkhead]
If you use the enumeration, you (according to the doc) should use either
\mwcodechunkhead ..... \par or
\startmwcodechunkhead ......... \stopmwcodechunkhead
BTW: what time shall we arrive at eurotex?
