Hello!

If I use < or > in my text, it becomes "spanish" ! and ? (¡, ¿)
I thought these characters could be used "plain"?
Must I use some macro? I tried \< \less \textless (only errors).

(I've got tables with symbols only for LaTeX, sorry)

Hraban.
