Hello,
I find this behavior a little odd:
\starttext
\startbodymatter
\startplacefigure[reference=mill,title={A mill}]
\externalfigure[mill]
\stopplacefigure
\startplacefigure[reference=cow,title={A cow}]
\externalfigure[cow]
\stopplacefigure
\stopbodymatter
\startappendices
In \in{figure}[cow] on page \at[cow] is a cow.
\stopappendices
\stoptext
The figure number is converted into roman numerals (Romannumerals). How can I change it to normal numbers? So that it says "figure 2".
It should also be considered to make it the default setting.
