Hi Chris,

it does not work for pagella either. Did you try \setff{smallcaps} \bf instead?

\usetypescript[pagella]
\setupbodyfont[pagella]

\starttext
{\setff{smallcaps} This is in {\bf bold} SmallCaps} (works).
{\sc This is in {\bf bold} SmallCaps} (does not).
\stoptext
