All of the mechanisms are added at different times in the process to make f= rom text a page. Margindata (\inmargin etc.) is added to the line where you have it in your and doesn=92t move from this position but you prevent overlapping of two different texts in the line with =93stack=3Dyes=94. Marginblocks are added after ConTeXt has finished the entire page. As you can see in the example below it=92s possible to have text at different levels on the same position. \setupmarginblock[color=3Dgreen] \setupnote [footnote][location=3Dnone] \setupnotation[footnote][color=3Dblue] \setuptexttexts [margin] [] [{\framed[frame=3Doff,height=3D\textheight,width=3Dbroad,offset=3Dnone,al= ign=3Dhigh]{\placenotes[footnote][before=3D]}}] \starttext \inright[color=3Dred]{Paragraph 1} \input knuth\footnote{Footnote 1} \startmarginblock \input ward \stopmarginblock \inright[color=3Dred]{Paragraph 2} \input knuth \stoptext Wolfgang ___________________________________________________________________________= ________ If your question is of interest to others as well, please add an entry to t= he Wiki! maillist : ntg-context@ntg.nl / http://www.ntg.nl/mailman/listinfo/ntg-cont= ext webpage : http://www.pragma-ade.nl / http://tex.aanhet.net archive : http://foundry.supelec.fr/projects/contextrev/ wiki : http://contextgarden.net ___________________________________________________________________________= ________
