I'm starting to test the newmat module. Do you want me to flood
with requests? ;-)

Ok, by now, the only thing I need is the match for the
align environments in AMS-LaTeX. By now I'll work with this
approximation:

\def\doeqalign#1{\eqalign{#1\cr}\stopformula}

\def\startalign{%
    \startformula
    \let\\\cr
    \grabuntil{stopalign}\doeqalign
}
\let\stopalign\relax

which is enough for my needs.
