trying to create a poster on carbohydrate chemistry with PPCHTeX I
stumbled across the same problem - it is not possible to place an oxygen
into the chair-structure. What does it mean "hard coded" - is it not
possible to try to get it working by editing ppchtex.tex?

A second question, related to the first: is it possible to define
another bond type in ppchtex.tex - in particular, a hatched wedge like
bond, indicating a bond pointing behind the plane of paper (as opposed
to the already existing SD-bond, a filled wedge like bond pointing in
front out of the paper plane)? I had a look at ppchtex.tex and thought
of starting from
...
\def\plotchemicaldeltaline#1#2#3#4%
...
But if things are compiled in somewhere ...?

Thanks in advance

Yours sincerely
