Pandoc 1.8.1.1 is available in the Debian Sid/unstable repositories [1]
now. I tested the minimal example and after adding the

	\setupbodyfont[times]

as you did, everything works as expected.

Thank you very much and sorry for noise, because this was an external
problem.
