Hans,

You have referred quite often to the MAPS. For example, in your reply to
Wybo you wrote:

"It's not in the manual because it's rather new. It is however in the
last maps, with some examples."

Are you referring to:

http://www.pragma-ade.nl/itdemos/internal/maps/maps.pdf

But every time I try to press the View button to view an article, I get

Error code 404

Access denied, or file does not exist

WN/2.0.5

If I am missing something, could you direct me, via the maps, to the
article you describe in your quote to Wybo? That is,

"It's not in the manual because it's rather new. It is however in the
last maps, with some examples. I think you will like the hooks (because
you can sort of manipulate entries). I already added a chapter to the
indeed not yet finished big manual."

That is the bibliography of the maps, that is, not the latest. All maps
articles are described in a big xml database (set up by erik and taco)
and I made this document of it. Later this year the ntg will come up
with a cdrom with all old issues.

It does, on my and a few other's machines -)

Indeed an articles in the maps. A good reason to be an ntg member (the
maps is one of the most informative of the user group periodicals). You
can probably still order the 'big 400 page 10th anniv. color one'.

The next maps will descrivbe the flow chart module and (when I can
finish it in time) the presentation environments.

I'll make it into an additional up-to-date document. I'll send you the
pdf file and would appreciate corrections to the english. When ok, I'll
post it to our site.

The MAPS is the Dutch Language LUG's journal. It is published twice a
year, and all but the last two are (or should be, as soon as the web
site has been updated) available as electronic files on the internet.

The URL to start at is http://www.ntg.nl/maps/electromaps.html

(this site is quite out of date at the moment, will be ok next week)

<advertorial>
If you want to read the latest articles on Context, I would advise you
to become a member of NTG. There is always a lot of information on
Context in it, and quite a lot of the articles are written in English.

    David> Are you referring to:

    David> http://www.pragma-ade.nl/itdemos/internal/maps/maps.pdf

No, this really is internal. It is a demonstration file for
cross-linking of the Maps bibliography. (all issues will appear on a
CD-ROM somewhere in the future. This file will be the shell for that)

Hans does not have this PDF file, but I have :-). It's at

This happens for more NTG lists. I wonder why.

Hi,

Sorry, but how to get fresh MAPS magazine discussed here? Is it printed,
and if printed, will it be posted to NTG members (as me)? ;)

Best,
