at the top of
/usr/local/texlive/2013/texmf-dist/scripts/context/ruby/base/switch.rb 

that fixed my problem, which is related to the texlive distro according to Hans, which is older than current

PS: btw, should I consider to switch to MkIV? I mean, at the moment I’m not interested into Lua capabilities, but is mkII intended as a leggy support?
