the analogy of falling on a skateboard and a  rough  trip is more about learning to respect. but i see  rough  trips as an essencial part of lsd, because  some aspects  about everyone  will  only  change,  and their mind will only expand if they have those rough  trips,because  they represent facing  your fears. but i liked your analogy (:
