Hi,

we work on a new version where the procedure is slightly different
(see slides from a BachoTeX talk:
https://www.gust.org.pl/bachotex/2025-pl/presentations/columns-hhmps.pdf)
. You can try

\usemodule[oldcolumnsets]

to get the old behavior back.
