Dear TeXies,

how do I produce German umlauts via the iso-latin1 encoded ones, and more
importantly, how do I typeset lower right quotations?

if you have \language[de] (or deo for the traditional (old) spelling):
"a "s produces the same as LaTeX, also the "' "` (or somehow like this)
should work for the quotation marks, but \quotation{foo} -> ,,foo'' and
\quote{bar} -> ,bar' and ">fobar"< -> >>fobar<<  is faster.

If you want to to type in äöüß you should use \useencoding[win] this is
not completely ISO-8859-1/Latin-1, but comes rather close (somehow I
missed the ° symbol which is present in the standard Windows and in the
Latin-1 encoding, but it should be rather complete.

PS: Sometimes it is handy to use "ck -> ck or k- k; "mm -> mm or mm- m
etc.

the "`sequences"' I know from LaTeX are unknown to the program.
