\setuppublications[<color><param>0100,0100,0100</param>\c!nummercommando</color>=<color><param>0100,0100,0100</param>\numberwithbrackets]
If this doesn't work you may need to change it in the M-bib.tex file,
right at the end where these defaults are set.
