Where in the file-system should I put it?
It doesn't mention it in the mptopdf manual.

Regards,

say:

  kpsewhich cont-en.efmt

and you get the path where formats and mems go.

The problem is that formats are generated [in many cases] using fmtutil,
but metapost mems not, and afaik this will not be built in [but i may ask
thomas once again-)] unless you run "texexec --alone --make".

Here I say:

  texexec --make --alone metafun

and, since i have an env var MPMEMS set to the right web2c path, thing go
there automatically,

Hans

[ explanation ]

Thanks Hans. I turned out to be wrong when I said
there was no explanation in the mptopdf manual.
There was. It mentioned ``in WEB2C.'' I didn't realise
this was a directory in the system. On my system this
directory is called web2c.

Thanks again for the help.

Regards,

Marc
